Can you live Godless? Whether or not you believe in God or Gods or Goddesses or some higher power it is tough to live “godless” simply because so many believe their way is the only way. As Jeff Rasley says, “Beliefs divide us.” He also makes a very valid point though – “Values unite us.”
His book, Godless: Living a Valuable Life Beyond Beliefs, makes the case that “religious ideologies have outlived their use”. He shared during our conversation that he believes that most people can connect to each other’s values and have the same core values even if their religious or spiritual beliefs are quite different. According to Jeff, most people do not really believe in the fundamentals of their religion. In other words, most people are not over-the-top and religious fanatics. Of course, we all know that many of those radical people DO exist.
So, is it really possible to make a powerful transformation in our world so that people could experience living a valuable life beyond beliefs? Listen now, read his book and then consider the possibilities.
